Terms of Use

Last updated: November 8, 2026

Argos lets anyone launch a token on Elysium and name any X account to receive that token's trading fees. These Terms explain how that works, what we do and do not do, and the rules that apply when you use this website and interface (the "Platform"). They are written in plain language on purpose. Where plain language and legal caution point in different directions, the cautious reading wins.

Part I — The basics
01

What Argos is

Argos is a software interface. It helps you launch tokens, discover tokens others have launched, trade them on a bonding curve, and claim trading fees that have accrued to your X account. The actual launching, trading, and fee-holding are done by smart contracts on the Elysium network — not by us, and not on our servers.

Three design choices define Argos, and they cannot be switched off:

  • The fee recipient is chosen at launch and locked into the contract forever.
  • Trading fees are held by the FeeVault contract, never by Argos.
  • When a token graduates, its liquidity is locked by burning the LP position — nobody, including the token's creator, can withdraw it.
02

Mainnet — read this first

This version of Argos runs on the Elysium mainnet. Everything here is real:

  • HYPE and the tokens traded here are real assets with real monetary value, and their prices can fall to zero. Only trade with funds you can afford to lose.

These terms apply to this mainnet deployment.

03

Your agreement

By opening the Platform, connecting a wallet, signing in, or sending a transaction through the interface, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Argos.

You may use Argos only if you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher), you are legally able to enter this agreement, and your use is lawful where you are. If you act for a company or other entity, you confirm you may bind that entity.

Argos must not be used from jurisdictions under comprehensive international sanctions, by persons on applicable sanctions or restricted-party lists, or in any way that would break sanctions, anti-money-laundering, securities, or other applicable law. We may block access where we reasonably believe this section is being breached.

Part II — How Argos works
04

Your wallet, your keys

Argos is non-custodial. We never hold your assets, never see your private key or recovery phrase, and cannot move your funds, reverse a transaction, or restore a wallet. If anyone claiming to be Argos asks for your key or phrase, it is not us.

You sign in with your X account through a third-party authentication provider, which creates or connects a wallet for you. Whoever controls that X account controls the right to claim the fees accrued to it — so keep the account secure.

You are responsible for your wallet, devices, accounts, and credentials, and for checking every transaction — the token address, amounts, approvals, fees, slippage, and network — before you sign it. Activity signed with your wallet is treated as yours, even if someone else got hold of your credentials.

Argos is not a bank, broker, exchange, custodian, or investment adviser, and nothing on the Platform is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

05

Launching a token

Anyone can launch a token on Argos. Launching costs a one-time launch fee (0.02 HYPE on this deployment) plus network fees. A launched token is a plain fixed-supply token: no further minting, no blacklist, no owner switches.

At launch you name the X account that will receive the token's trading fees. Choose carefully: the contract records the recipient at launch and it can never be changed — not by you, not by us, not by the named account.

Naming an account needs no permission from that account, and it does not mean the account endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with your token. The named account is not responsible for your token in any way.

You are responsible for everything you submit: the token's name, ticker, image, description, and its X, Telegram, and website links. You confirm you have the rights to use them and that they are accurate and not misleading. A token appearing on Argos has not been reviewed or approved by us. We may hide off-chain content from pages we control if it breaks these Terms or creates legal or security risk; we cannot erase anything recorded on-chain.

06

The curve and graduation

Before graduation, tokens trade on a bonding curve inside the launchpad contract: buying pushes the price up, selling pulls it down, and every quote you see is computed from the curve's current state. Prices, market caps, and graduation progress shown on the Platform are estimates from on-chain data and can be delayed or differ from what a transaction finally executes at.

An anti-snipe surcharge applies in the first seconds after a launch and decays to zero shortly after; it is split like the normal trading fee. Slippage settings are yours to choose — a trade can execute at a worse price than displayed if the curve moves first, and transactions can fail, stall, or be reordered by the network.

When the HYPE collected in a token's curve reaches its graduation threshold, the token graduates: a liquidity pool opens on the DEX named in the contract, seeded from the curve, and the LP position is burned so the liquidity stays in the pool permanently. After graduation, trading happens in that pool under the DEX's own rules, and the launchpad curve no longer trades the token. No token is guaranteed to graduate.

07

Fees and the FeeVault

Every trade on the curve pays a 1% fee, split two ways: 70% to the X account named at launch, 30% as the platform share. The anti-snipe surcharge is split the same way. Claiming your fees costs no Argos fee; network fees still apply. You are responsible for your own taxes on anything you launch, trade, or claim.

After a token graduates, trades in its pool also pay the 1% fee — taken from the HYPE side of the trade and split the same way into the FeeVault. Where a trade specifies its HYPE amount (you buy with a set amount of HYPE, or sell to receive a set amount of HYPE), the fee is calculated on that specified amount: if the trade only partially fills, for example because of a price limit you set, the fee is still based on the full specified amount, so the fee relative to what actually filled can be higher than 1%. The fee is never more than 1% of the amount you specified.

Fees do not go to a wallet at trade time. They accumulate inside the FeeVault smart contract, recorded under the recipient's X account ID. That record is the whole system:

  • Accrued fees never expire and are never swept, redirected, or spent by Argos. The vault contract gives us no way to take them.
  • To claim, the X account proves it is the account (by signing in) and binds one wallet. Only that bound wallet can claim, and the vault pays the fees to that wallet.
  • If an account never claims, its fees simply wait in the vault. They do not become Argos property, ever.
  • If this website disappears tomorrow, accrued fees remain governed by the vault contract on-chain.
Part III — Risk and rules
08

Risks you accept

Tokens launched by strangers can be jokes, experiments, mistakes, or scams, and most will go to zero. Anyone can copy a name or ticker. Check contract addresses, do your own research, and only use assets you can afford to lose entirely. By using Argos you accept, in particular:

  • You may lose some or all of the assets you put in.
  • Smart contracts can contain bugs or behave unexpectedly. Ours are unaudited.
  • Displayed data can be wrong, stale, or incomplete.
  • Your activity may have tax or regulatory consequences that are yours to understand.
  • No token on Argos is offered or endorsed by us, and nothing here is a promise of profit, return, liquidity, or graduation.
09

Fair use

Argos is open, and staying open depends on people not abusing it. When using the Platform, you must not:

  • Break the law, sanctions, or someone else's rights, including intellectual-property and privacy rights.
  • Launch or promote tokens meant to deceive: fake affiliations, impersonation of a person or project (including naming a fee recipient to fake their endorsement), misleading metadata or links, or fraud of any kind.
  • Use Argos for market manipulation, money laundering, financing unlawful activity, or hiding proceeds of crime.
  • Use Argos to run a capital raise, pooled investment, profit-sharing, or revenue-participation scheme, or to issue anything representing equity, debt, or an ownership interest in a business.
  • Attack the service: probing for vulnerabilities to exploit, bypassing access controls or rate limits, spreading malware, abusive scraping, or overloading the infrastructure.

We may investigate suspected abuse and restrict access to the interface. Restricting the interface does not affect the smart contracts, which keep their own rules on-chain.

10

Third-party services

Argos stands on other people's infrastructure: X, the Privy sign-in service, the Elysium network, DEX protocols such as Uniswap, RPC and indexing providers, explorers, and profile-resolution services. We do not control them, their uptime, or their terms. An integration or a link is not an endorsement, and your use of each service is governed by that service's own terms.

11

Content and intellectual property

The Argos name, interface, design, and our original software and writing belong to Argos or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the interface for lawful purposes — nothing more.

Content you submit stays yours. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, format, and moderate it as needed to run and promote the Platform. That license necessarily continues for copies that live on public blockchains, distributed storage, or records we must keep for legal or security reasons.

Feedback is welcome and free for us to use without compensation; do not send anything confidential as feedback.

If you believe content reachable through the Platform infringes your copyright, send a notice through the contact route in Section 18 identifying the work, the infringing material and where it sits, your contact details, and a signed statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized and that you may act for the owner. We will respond as applicable law requires.

Part IV — The legal part
12

Availability and changes to the service

We may add, change, limit, or retire any feature, and may set reasonable limits on transaction size or frequency for security, legal, or operational reasons. The smart contracts may impose their own limits independently. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or advance notice of changes.

You never need this website to reach the contracts: anyone can interact with the public contracts directly. The interface is a convenience, not a gatekeeper.

13

No warranties; limits of liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind — including merchantability, fitness for a purpose, title, accuracy, security, or uninterrupted operation — to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that any token, contract, piece of data, or third-party service is safe, accurate, or legitimate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Argos and its team and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost assets, failed or delayed transactions, contract defects, compromised wallets, network events, price movements, market manipulation, or third-party conduct connected with the Platform.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability for claims connected with the Platform is capped at the greater of the fees you paid directly to Argos for the interface in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred United States dollars — except where applicable law requires otherwise.

14

Your responsibility for claims

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Argos, its team, and its service providers against claims, losses, damages, judgments, costs, and reasonable legal fees that arise from your use of the Platform, content you submitted, tokens you launched, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or another person's rights.

Disputes between you and another user or a third party — about a token, its creator, its named fee recipient, or a trade — are between you and them. You release Argos from claims arising out of those disputes.

15

Ending access

We may suspend or end your access to the interface at any time, with or without notice, including where we reasonably suspect fraud, manipulation, sanctions or legal risk, abuse, or a breach of these Terms. Our decision may rely on risk and security criteria we are not obliged to disclose.

Ending access does not touch the chain: your wallet, your tokens, and any fees accrued to your X ID in the FeeVault remain exactly where the contracts put them. Sections that by their nature should survive — including fees, risk, content, liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution — survive the end of access and of these Terms.

16

Indonesian law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Platform, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Talk first. Before filing any formal claim, contact us through the route in Section 18 with a reasonable description of the problem, and both sides will try in good faith to settle it through deliberation (musyawarah) within 30 days.

If that fails, the dispute goes to final and binding arbitration administered by the Indonesian National Arbitration Board (Badan Arbitrase Nasional Indonesia, "BANI") under its rules in force at the time, seated in Jakarta and conducted in the Indonesian language unless both sides agree otherwise in writing. The arbitrator's award is final and binding and may be registered with and enforced through the competent Indonesian court.

Claims are brought individually. Neither side may bring or join a class, collective, representative, or consolidated proceeding, and the arbitrator may not consolidate claims.

If this arbitration agreement is held not to apply to you or your claim, the dispute will be heard exclusively by the District Court of Central Jakarta (Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Pusat), and you consent to its jurisdiction.

You may opt out of arbitration by sending written notice through the route in Section 18 within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your full name, a wallet address or account identifier, and that you opt out of arbitration. Nothing in this section removes rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

17

Changes to these Terms; general

We may update these Terms as the product, its risks, or the law changes. The "Last updated" date shows the current version, and material changes may be announced through the interface. Continuing to use Argos after an update takes effect means you accept it for later activity; if you do not, stop using the Platform.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stands. Not enforcing a provision once is not a waiver. Headings are signposts, not terms. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign ours freely. These Terms are the whole agreement between you and Argos about the interface, except for extra terms shown for a specific feature.
